Including N4Cs as part of your estate planning is a wonderful way to remember the Center and to be remembered by future generations. In addition, your gift will help N4Cs remain financially viable well into the future.
Consult your legal and/or financial adviser when considering a planned gift.
The Legacy Society provides recognition to individuals who leave a financial legacy to the Community Center. It consists of all those who have notified the Executive Director that they have included N4Cs in their estate planning. Members of the Legacy Society have the special satisfaction of knowing that their contribution will continue to make a difference–giving future generations the opportunity to enjoy the cultural, educational, social, and wellness opportunities that N4Cs offers. We thank every member of the Legacy Society for making a gift to support the Community Center for years to come.

Several Giving Options are available:
— Bequests: An easy traditional way to support N4Cs and reduce your estate taxes.
— Life Insurance: There are many options for making gifts of life insurance; the simplest is making a charitable beneficiary designation.
— Retirement/IRA Fund Plans: You can designate N4Cs as a beneficiary of part or all of an IRA or retirement plan.
— Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA): CGA is a type of gift in which assets are transferred to N4Cs in exchange for a tax benefit and a lifetime annuity. Upon the donor’s death, the remainder of the CGA becomes a permanent gift to N4Cs.
— Charitable Remainder Trust: This option is designed to reduce the taxable income of individuals by first disbursing income to the beneficiaries of the trust for a period of time and then donating the remainder of the trust to N4Cs.
— N4Cs Endowment: The Central Susquehanna Community Foundation manages this endowment fund, which was also created by Elsie Buyers. Each year, this endowment provides N4Cs with a percentage distribution to supplement operations and maintenance.
Thank you for your consideration of this generous way to help sustain N4Cs.
